Sea Lions 5K

The Sea Lions Swim team has decided to try a new, FUN fundraiser for next season, which will actually take place at the end of THIS season.

We will be organizing and running a Sea Lions 5K race/walk on Sunday, April 22nd around the Penn State campus.

Divisionals Info

Divisionals is an optional event for each swimmer. Every team from our division (East Penn, Palmyra, ACWest Shore, Ephrata) will be coming together to swim at the West Shore Aquatic Club on Saturday, February 25th. Each swimmer is allowed to swim up to three events ( one or two of those events can be a relay).

After the other 4 divisions swim their own Divisionals, the times from all 4 divisions are COMBINED and the swimmers are ranked. The top 16 individual times per event and the top 8 relays are given the opportunity to swim in ALL - STARS being held at Cumberland Valley High School on February 26, 2012. It is important to remember that 4 different divisions will be swimming on the same day - therefore - your swimmer will need to wait until all divisions are combined before they know if they are moving onto ALL - STARS.

Please complete the Registration form and place in the YEAGER folder by January 26, 2012. The information will be processed and sent to the sponsoring team by 1/27/12. Therefore, please submit the form ASAP.

If you are not sure what your swimmer should enter - please indicate that on the form and the coaches can decide for your swimmer.

If you are interested in a Divisional shirt (sizes YS, YM, YL, AS, AM, AL, AXL, A2XL) it is time to make your selection. The pre-ordered shirts are 12 dollars (A2XL is 14 dollars).

Jodi Mackrell is in charge of the T- shirt order.

I want a t-shirt - what should I do?

1. Clearly write down what size/quantity of shirt that you desire.

2. Write a check to the SLST for the correct amount.

3. Place it in the Mackrell folder NO LATER THAN January 26, 2012.

4. Day of the meet - you will receive your shirt from Jodi Mackrell.

Bounce U Event - 1/29/12

On January 29, 2012 the team will be holding the Bounce U team social event. This social is for those children on the team ages 10 and under.

It will be held at Bounce U in Annville from 5:30-7:30. The cost is $7.00 per child and this will be paid at the door in the form of cash or check made payable to SLST. Sorry no debit or credit cards will be accepted. The team will not be collecting the money in advance so please RSVP to Jodi Mackrell at jjbmack@hotmail.com so we know how many people are coming. The price includes 2 hours of bouncing. There will be no drinks or snacks provided as we are not allowed to bring in any outside food or drinks.

A waiver is located HERE that you must complete in order to participate. Waivers will be available at the door but it gets crowded and is best to have this completed beforehand.

This is a drop off event but you are more than welcome to stay. If you are dropping off we will need a cell phone number to reach you in case of emergency. Sea Lion board members will be chaperoning the event from 5:30-7:30 so please be prompt when picking up your child.
